April has gone by in a blink of an eye and with it, so has our annual World Food Travel Day celebration.

We are extremely happy to report that this year, participation increased by 109%, with over 500 submissions from all corners of the world! To increase engagement and drive meaningful content, we created a contest this year that asked users to remember some of the best culinary memories they have and share them with us. The prizes included one copy of “Gastro Obscura: A Food Adventurer’s Guide” (order your own copy here ) and two Premium memberships to our GastroTerra community, which you can visit here.

We received some truly wonderful posts, and as you may have seen on our social media, the winners were:

Emma G., from Scotland

A tray of food and a bowl of food on a table.

Rosana J., from Grenada

A plate of food with chopsticks on a green leaf on a table.

Judith P., from United States
