New Partnership with Ecofoodies

Ecofoodies

The World Food Travel Association is pleased to announce a new partnership with Ecofoodies , a sustainable dining certification program.

Restaurants and hotels can differentiate themselves by showcasing their highest standards relating to natural and ethical farming methods and cooking processes. The Ecofoodies certification is based on the pledge to adhere to 25 commitments across three categories: human health, environmental impact, and animal welfare. The goal of Ecofoodies is to offer diners healthier and certifiably more sustainable dining options. Certification is offered at basic or advanced levels. Certified businesses get a logo for use in their dining establishment, as well as a searchable listing on the Ecofoodies website, with its beneficial search engine optimization.

Ecofoodies is part of the Ecostars Group , a leading hotel sustainability certification company.
