Meet The Maker - Magdalena Fielden
Magdalena Fielden, a passionate cocoa-chocolate enthusiast, founded the Grenada Chocolate Fest. Arriving in Grenada in 1998, she and her family now run the sustainability-focused True Blue Bay Boutique Resort. Inspired by a talk from Mott Green, founder of the Grenada Chocolate Company, about “Tree to Bar” chocolate, Magdalena created the festival after Mott’s passing to honor his legacy. The event showcases local farmers, cocoa producers, and chocolatiers, promoting Grenada’s vibrant chocolate industry.
He brings to the table traditional recipes served in innovative ways, which enhance the strength of the gastronomic identity of Puerto Natales, strengthening the pride of local roots.
