Michele is the recipient of numerous professional diplomas and certificates from, among others, Bologna's La Scuola Di Cucina (Marcella Hazan), the "Cooking in Florence" Program (Giuliano Bugialli), as well as a professional chef's diploma from Madeleine Kamman's Modern Gourmet.
A 40-plus-year resident of Boston's North End "Little Italy", Michele has taught cooking, catered, and consulted on Italian food since 1979. In 1994 she designed the North End Market Tour to introduce her cooking class participants to her neighborhood and to sources for authentic Italian ingredients. Her goal is to convey not only the secrets of the cuisine in the high quality ingredients, but also to provide a sense of regional tradition and the healthfulness of the Italian diet.
Degree of tourism, travel services and marketing operations from the University of Deusto, with wide professional experience (over 20 years) in creation, commercialization and marketing of products. Specialized training in food and wine (postgraduate University Camilo José Cela-Cátedra Ferran Adria).
