Today the World Food Travel Association (WFTA) announced its new tagline, "Eat Well, Travel Better". The tagline actually isn't new to the Association at all. The phrase was originally coined by Association Executive Director in 2001 in the very first industry white paper ever published about culinary (food) tourism. "The Association is resurrecting this colorful tagline from our past because we feel it is more relevant than ever for today's foodie world because good food and drink are the cornerstone of a satisfying journey," said the WFTA's Executive Director Erik Wolf. The new tagline will work its way into all of the Association's communications and branding, and will also be utilized as a #EatWellTravelBetter hashtag in social media.
