The Association is governed by both a Board of Directors and a Board of Advisors. The Directors are responsible for the Association’s overall governance. The Advisors are comprised of various leaders throughout the food, drink, travel and hospitality world, with a voice or opinion to share in the Association’s leadership.

Eddie Bergman, Board of Advisors
New York, New York, USA
Eddie Bergman is President of Innovative Development Services Inc. (IDS), a full-service consulting company serving international clients in New York and around the world who work to effect social change. Since 2006 he has served as the Executive Director of the New York-headquartered Africa Travel Association (ATA), the premier international travel industry trade association promoting tourism to the African continent and intra-Africa travel and partnership founded in 1975 and currently working in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC). Eddie is Co-CEO of E&E Hospitality Group with two restaurants: E&E Grill House (Times Square, NY) and Hill and Bay (Murray Hill, NY). He is also an Adjunct Professor of Tourism at NYU and lectures on Social Entrepreneurship at Stony Brook University. In 1999 he co-founded and currently serves as President of the Board of Miracle Corners of the World (MCW), a non-profit organization devoted to empowering youth, primarily through programs of leadership training, community center development and oral healthcare outreach, with a special focus on Africa. In addition he serves on the board of directors of several international organizations in the non-profit, education and travel and trade sectors, including the Rubin Museum of Art, the Museum for African Art, Shared Interest and the Synergos Institute. He also serves on the advisory boards of the International Crisis Group, the NYU Africa House and the Dean’s Council of the NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Studies. He received his Masters from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a major in Social Entrepreneurship and his Bachelors in Hotel and Tourism Management from NYU’s Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management, where he was a Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholar. Jose Borralho, Board of Advisors
José Francisco Silva Borralho has a degree in Marketing Management from IPAM – Portuguese Institute of Marketing Management (1995). He began his career when he was young (1988) in a German multinational corporation, Hoechst Portuguesa. He has a long and distinguished career in consumer, travel and food marketing, branding and journalism. In 2012, he co-founded APTECE – Portuguese Association for Culinary Tourism and Economy, assumes its Presidency and creates a programme to promote culinary tourism for Portugal, obtaining community funding for this project. At this time he was invited to join the “Clube de Embaixadores da Costa do Estoril.” He is currently Chairman of the BCAM ONE FIVE SGPS owner of Brandstory Ltd (Marketing Consultancy Firm) and of ConsumerChoice – Centro de Avaliação da Satisfação do Consumidor, which owns the successful brand “Consumer Choice” in Portugal and other European markets. Aliza Green, Board of Advisors

Aliza Green, the Philadelphia-based James Beard Award winning cookbook author, journalist and pioneering chef, is the author of 12 highly acclaimed cookbooks including Starting with Ingredients: Baking – Quintessential Recipes for the Way We Really Bake, The Fishmonger’s Apprentice and Making Artisan Pasta. Before her career as a cookbook author and culinary consultant, Green wrote popular weekly food columns for both the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Daily News. Her writing appeared in numerous high profile publications. Green was one of the pioneer chefs who made the city of Philadelphia a national dining destination, serving as Executive Chef at the renowned Ristorante DiLullo. In 1988, The Philadelphia Inquirer inducted Chef Green into its Culinary Hall of Fame, citing her as one of the ten most influential people in the city’s food industry for her uncompromising efforts at Ristorante DiLullo. Green cites her childhood, which she spent traveling and living abroad, as the inspiration for her culinary pursuits.
Camille Hoheb, Board of Advisors

Known for her engaging blend of knowledge and enthusiasm, Camille is committed to raising the level of well-being around the world. Through her work, she facilitates greater awareness of life/work balance, happiness, health and productivity through vacation travel. Camille heads Wellness Tourism Worldwide (WTW) empowering travel businesses to improve the well-being of their guests leading to sustained economic growth and personal and professional engagement. Travel agents, tour operators, hotels, resorts, associations and tourism boards turn to Camille as a trusted, objective and knowledgeable resource for wellness tourism education, research, training, business development and promotion. She is the Editor in Chief of the Wellness Travel Journal, author of The Guide to Selling Wellness Travel, Top 10 Wellness Travel Trends forecasts and the report, U.S. Vacationers: Health, Happiness & Productivity. Camille earned a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, holds wellness certifications from the National Institutes of Health and has been at the forefront of wellness travel since 2008.
Brian Lorge, Board of Directors

Brian F. Lorge, CCTP, HAAC is the President/CEO of Lorge Marketing Services, LLC, a boutique agency specializing in foodservice marketing, advertising, management services and consulting. Based in Chicago, LMS’s clients include businesses in all facets of the foodservice industry all across the US and Canada with a focus on the Midwest. Lorge serves as Executive Director of two of the largest chapters of the American Culinary Federation, the ACF Michigan Chefs de Cuisine, Inc. in Southeast Michigan covering the six county metro Detroit area and the ACF Windy City Professional Culinarians, Inc. covering all of Chicagoland. He also works with ACF National and several other chapters in the nation including ACF Cleveland Chapter, Inc. handling various projects as well as marketing and communications. Brian became involved with the International Culinary Tourism Association in 2011 and prior to joining the board of directors in 2013 helped with its rebranding as the World Food Travel Association in 2012.
Harold D Partain CTC CCTP, Board of Directors

Harold D Partain CTC CCTP has served on the Board of Directors of the World Food Travel Association (formerly International Culinary Tourism Association) since 2004. He has chaired various Association committees since then, including Education and also Membership. Harold has dedicated 40 years of his life to the travel industry. His management and training skills have lead several companies to success and recognition. Harold is a senior partner with McCabe Travel Group and owner of Epicopia Culinary Journeys. He lectures on travel styles and trends, destinations, and the history of food for various travel organizations such as ASTA and industry conferences.
Catherine Prather, Board of Advisors
Lexington, Kentucky, USA
Catherine Prather joined the NTA team in 1994 and currently serves as its senior vice president focusing on strategic development. In this role, Catherine works closely with NTA President Lisa Simon to strengthen efforts to achieve the association’s mission and assure NTA’s long-term growth and sustainability. Catherine’s oversight includes strategic partnerships, member leadership committees, strategic content, international relations, advocacy and special market initiatives. This translates to programming that enriches member experience through access to new market business expansion, industry research, educational content, Product Development Trips for firsthand destination experience and leadership development through volunteer opportunities. Catherine seeks collaborative relationships to help NTA achieve its strategic direction and oversees its programming with its 10 partnering associations. She also works with NTA’s team of experts to develop business and educational programming focusing on China, the Hispanic market and other niche growth areas including faith tourism, adventure travel and the family market. Catherine serves as the lead for NTA’s crisis planning and strategic content such as research, member surveys, education and certification. A member of the U.S. Travel Association Communications Committee, Catherine connects with colleagues in travel and tourism, and actively supports Tourism Cares, NTA’s official philanthropy. A native of Georgetown, Kentucky, she is a graduate of Transylvania University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Christian Rümmelein, Board of Advisors
Christian Rümmelein started the wine-focused culinary tour operator VinTour in 2006. His career in tourism began in Hamburg, Germany at tour operator and Scandinavia specialist FAST Reisen in 1986. After studies in Sweden he received the MS degree, followed by many years as a marketing consultant for Lufthansa, Icelandair and various destinations. In 2004 he took the Advanced Certificate of Wines and Spirits from WSET in London. From his travels and work with the wine industry, he is well connected in the wine business, resulting in additional services as “trade Scout” and multiplier for wine producers. VinTour has become recognized as a quality leader in wine and culinary tours in German-speaking Europe, with worldwide destinations and clients. Christian has been a board member in SKÅL International Hamburg, and his advice and opinion is highly valued in various special interest tourism conferences in Europe. Christian and VinTour are based in Lüneburg near Hamburg.
Judith von Prockl, Board of Advisors

Gourmet On Tour founder Judith von Prockl grew up in Germany. Travelling extensively and cooking in her grandmother’s kitchen led to an early curiosity for different cultures and cuisines. Her passion for food and travel was further nourished while living in Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, California, Shanghai, Paris and London. In 2000, Judith left the corporate world at amazon.com to set up Gourmet On Tour. Today, the London-based company is an internationally acclaimed food and travel specialist, winning the 2011 IACP Award of Excellence for the Entrepreneur Category and Experts’ Choice: Best Culinary Tours in Saveur’s 2013 Culinary Travel Awards. Judith has a degree in business administration and is a travel specialist certified by several international Tourism Boards. She has visited hundreds of cooking schools, chefs and culinary guides around the world to create authentic culinary experiences for her clients.
